Hospital Scene

Ok, so I know I haven't written for a while and I'm really starting to think that nobody reads these things anyway, but what the heck. Anyways, right now I'm in a hospital scene where Derek's supposed to escape from it, but hits a snare when he bumps into Rachel. Now, he's gotta escape with Rachel without using his powers. So, no easy way out. Tho, I'm halfway through, I have no idea whether or not he should reveal his powers to her yet, or wait for a while. I'm leaning towards the second, but a part of me just wants to get it over with... ok, I'll go with the second one. haha. Ok then, just letting you know that I AM STILL WRITING! Slow as it may be. Ok... I'm done.

Well, I keep trying to get ahold of Circe, but it seems like she disappeared off the face of the earth so, I'm gonna have to try harder. -_-' Anyways, I went through my old composition notebook and found an illustration that Circe did when she graded my Algebra homework and I decided to trace and make it better. So here it is.

Also, the book is going well. I'm still in the fight between Derek and Damian, but it's still interesting. Hopefull I'll have that chapter done by next week. Ok then, I'm done... laters.

Finally!

OK, I know what you're thinking and No I haven't finished the book yet. I just actually finished the last revisions given to me by Ana and just emailed them back. I feel relieved. I can actually continue working on new stuff without having to go back or anything. Phew. Anyways, the books coming along great and now I'm in a fun banter between damian and Derek. sometimes I just sit back and laugh at the stupidness of the quirps at serious moments, but hey, that's what makes this book different. So right now, I really need to kick Circe in the pants because she hasn't come up with anything in forever. In fact I'll do that right now, excuse me.

Checkin' Back

Okay, so I haven't written for a while. This thing is so hard to keep up with. Geez! No wonder Relient K has such horrible presence on the internet. Anyways, I've still been working on the book, and will hopefully have it done next year. Hopefully. It's turning out a little more complicated than I thought. Whatever tho. So right now, Derek's in a scene where he meet's Damian for the first time and he's in a burning apartment complex. Sound familiar? Nope! Yeah, i know... Spiderman, but mine's a lot cooler. Haha. I'm deciding whether or not to have the person he saves, be a guy bigger than him, or a little kid. The bigger guy would make it kinda funny while the kid is a cliche. Hmmm. Whatevers.

I rationalize for my sake.

Oh, hello. 

well, i have been trying to get some Band W drawings done (despite the amount of work i have to do for others and myself, drawing wise) BUT i havent gotten anything im happy with. My trash can is full. 

So i was thinking during school today, or, actually, during community service, that the reason that i could draw so well on certain things at a time is because im inspired by that at the moment. so, its been brought to my attention, that i have been drawing certain characters for a while now, non-stop. WHY? because im getting lots of ideas for that particular story at the moment. i guess if i was writing Band W i could get those "OH, IM INSPIRED" moments, and draw like a maniac. BUT since im not writing that story, i cant make p new stuff to be inspired by, so, i cant draw for that particular story. (well, i guess i could if i really tried, but it wouldnt come out so great).

what am i saying?

im saying DANE should WRITE some more so i can DRAW those things HE ASKED ME FOR. that way, i could be inspired by his writing, and i could get good drawing ideas.

i love rationalizing.

You heard right. I got bored and decided to make some wallpapers for the book. I did this a while back but never had a chance to put them on here, but you know... whatever. Anyways, here they are: ^

Okay, I'm really sorry for not posting something sooner, but life's really fast right now and yeah. Anyways, the other day I was going through iTunes and found out the "theme songs", if you will, for the main characters. Most of them are on the iPod to your left so check 'em out when you feel like it. I'm not really gonna give away all the songs, so I'm just gonna tell you the genres each person gets.

Derek: Alternative (If you were thinking screamo or metal you're crazy.)
Damian: Metal and Alternative (Kind of a mix, really.)
Cory: Pop (Typical Hannah Montanna dandy, but Hanna isn't in the book so whatever.)
Rachel: Dance (Her's is the popular girl party tunes that are so prominent today.)
Allen: Rock (Duh. Mostly work-out music.)

That's pretty much it for the genres. You want songs? Wait for the book. They'll be waiting for you in the back.
