Chapter 8

Alright, so the other night I got on a big hype and started writing again. I swear I did like fifteen pages or something, but I added a lot. Ok. I left off where Derek has just finished pummeling Allen and the others and is completely tapped out of energy. Allen regains consciousness faster than what Derek expected and finds himself on the run. He hides in the school's music room and escapes. He then decides to start playing the piano until he plays a song that he remembers. Author's note: the song that Derek plays is "There was another time in my life" by Relient k, the Bird and the Bee Sides album. Then, Rachel walks in and something unexpected happens. Chapter 8 starts here and it starts with Cory and Derek in front of the school building talking about him becoming a hero. This is where the "scanner" is introduced. The bell rings and that's where I stopped. This is all the adjustments I've made so far.
